State of Oregon Self-Employment Programs & Services

The SEA program is  an option for Unemployment Insurance claimants who have been  identified as likely to run out of benefits before they  return to work. The program operates as a collaborative effort between the Oregon Employment Department, and the Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC).


The Business Information Center provides assistance to people wanting to start and grow a business in Oregon. The Secretary of State works in partnership with the many state and government agencies that support and regulate businesses.


SBDCs are partnerships between the government and state and community colleges throughout Oregon. They provide educational services for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. Small Business Development center workshops offered at locations around the state. TRAINING AND COURSES


To provide Hispanic small businesses with business development services and business tools. 


Oregon’s One Stop Business Portal for business just starting or for those who have been in business for a while.
