Veterans Services and Resources - The Oregon Employment Department

The Oregon Employment Department has Veterans Representatives stationed around the state to assist you.

This site provides you with resources on transitioning back into the civilian workforce and training opportunities available to veterans. Oregon National Guard Reintegration and Service Member Support

The Reintegration Team provides post-mobilization support to commanders and soldiers looking to meet their career goals. Visit this site to learn more about medical, counseling, employment, Tricare/DEERS and Emergency Relief Fund resources.

Helmets to Hardhats connects veterans into careers in construction. Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve

This website and corresponding call center assists you with any questions you might have regarding USERRA and your rights and responsibilities. The call center is open 8-6 EST at 1-800-336-4590.

The Veterans Crisis Line connects veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline, online chat, or text. You can receive confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This site also includes suicide and crisis resources, how to identify warning signs and resources/support for families and friends of veterans in crisis.

National Call Center for Homeless Veterans - 1-877-4AID VET (877-424-3838)

The Homeless Veterans Hotline was created to ensure that homeless veterans or veterans-at-risk for homelessness have free, confidential, 24/7 access to trained counselors. If you are the family caregiver of a veteran you love, this Department of Veterans Affairs site can connect you with a number of services that provide the support that's right for you. Whether you and the veteran you care for could use a little help at home, or you just need someone to listen, Caregiver Support Coordinators are available. This site also provides caregivers with resources on support services and a caregiver tool box that assists those new to caregiving and includes items like: diagnosis care sheets, everyday tips and checklists, organizational tools and more.
