The Community Health Worker is responsible for conducting outreach events for a community health department: East County Community Health (ECCH). This includes engaging with community members to enroll them in programs, assisting with Federal Poverty Level (FPL) screenings, and providing culturally specific education. This position must develop relationships to plan, mobilize, and hold popup outreach events, such as community health fairs within the East County Community, and requires a significant amount of flexibility and multi-tasking to complete job responsibilities successfully.
